(PORTLAND, OREGON) — SeaPort Airlines, Inc. today announced the appointment of three new directors to support its commitment to Customer Experience and technology. The new directors will reach across both of the company’s brands, SeaPort Airlines and Wings of Alaska, and are key to its strategic goal of building a “next generation regional airline.”
Tammye Marks has been promoted to the position of Director of Customer Experience. Tammye joined SeaPort Airlines in 2009 and most recently held the position of Manager – Pricing & Distribution. Tammye will be responsible for ensuring that customers of both Wings of Alaska and SeaPort Airlines have the best possible travel experience, including development of new products and services to meet changing customer preferences. Prior to joining SeaPort Airlines, Tammye had decades of experience of experience in the travel industry beginning her career in reservations at British Caledonian Airways.
David Perlitz is SeaPort Airlines’ new Director of Station Operations and will be responsible for station operations across all 21 stations of both SeaPort Airlines and Wings of Alaska. Perlitz has over 30 years of airport station operations experience and is joining the company from Servisair in Los Angeles. Throughout his careers, Perlitz has worked in customer service, ramp, safety, security, and training management positions at companies such as Alaska Airlines, ATA Airlines, AirTran Airways, AMR Services, and Pan American World Airways.
Alan Provda is taking on the newly created position of Director of Technology & Business Intelligence supporting SeaPort’s recent investment in technology, including becoming the first regional airline in North America to be hosted on the Amadeus Altea reservation system and deployment of cloud-based operations management solution merlot.aero. Alan has over 30 years of experience in the airline industry, including as Vice President of Business at TransMeridian Airlines, Vice President of Technology at Kiwi International Airlines, and Vice President of Business Development at reservation provider OpenSkies. He began his career at PeoplExpress Airlines in Newark, NJ.
