Take Flight and Fight Hunger This Summer!
This summer, residents of the South Coast will have a special extra incentive to help keep their neighbors fed thanks to the 1st Annual Food 4 Flight Canned Food Drive! By bringing 4 cans of non-perishable food to designated locations in the Bay Area residents will receive a $25 travel voucher from SeaPort Airlines!
SeaPort Airlines, Northwest Community Credit Union, and 97.3 Hot Country K-SHORE have teamed up with the South Coast Food Share for the first drive of its kind here in Coos Bay and North Bend. From now until July 20, the following locations will be distributing the travel vouchers to any resident who donates 4 or more non-perishable food items.

“Many families continue to find themselves struggling to keep their kitchens stocked,” says Mary Schoen-Clark, CEO of ORCCA. “We at ORCCA are very excited about this new venture with SeaPort and K-SHORE and hope that the community will take advantage of this new and unique opportunity to lend a helping hand!”
Rules and restrictions apply for the vouchers. Vouchers can be used for travel between North Bend and any SeaPort Airlines Destination from now until September 30. Only one voucher is provided per person and they are not combinable with any other offers or vouchers. All food collected during the drive will be distributed to the 30 partner agencies of the South Coast Food Share Network at no cost.
