Wings of Alaska announces new fare structure

Wings of Alaska is proud to announce that we’ve restructured fares in all markets throughout Southeast Alaska. This new structure continues the tradition of value and convenience that our customers have come to expect from our unrestricted fare, but adds the option of further savings with new restricted fares for those with firm travel plans.

The new Wings of Alaska fare structure is a three-tiered system consisting of our new FULL FLEX, FREE TO FLEX, and NO FLEX fares:

FULL FLEX. Our Full Flex fare is totally unrestricted. If your travel plans change prior to scheduled departure, you may change your reservation as many times as you need at no extra charge. If your travel plans get canceled, just let us know 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure and we will gladly give you a full refund with no questions asked. If you prefer to use your ticket at a later date, we will provide a credit for the purchase of another ticket up to one year from the date of original purchase.  In addition to greater flexibility, our refundable fare offers the added value of double credit in our FlyerFlex frequent flyer plan, putting you on a faster path to earning free travel and other great Wings of Alaska perks.  Please remember that if you don’t cancel your reservation 15 minutes prior to departure, any payments will be forfeited.

FREE TO FLEX. If you’re sure that you’ll be traveling but that the dates or specific flight times may change, our new Free to Flex fare provides savings over the Full Flex fare outlined above.  These reservations must be made a minimum of three days prior to departure and seats available at this fare are limited. Reservations booked in this fare are non-refundable; however, as long as you cancel your reservation at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure we will provide a credit equal to 100% of the face value of the ticket that can be used for up to one year from the date of original purchase towards the purchase of another Wings of Alaska reservation.  You can make as many changes as you want during the year using this credit, and they’re all free. Additionally, you will earn 100% FlyerFlex credit for all tickets flown at this fare.  If you don’t cancel your reservation prior to scheduled departure, however, your fare will be forfeited.

NO FLEX. Our new No Flex fare is our lowest published fare and offers additional savings over our Free to Flex fare. This fare is for those with firm travel plans, and comes with some additional restrictions. Reservations must be made and payment received a minimum of three days prior to scheduled departure. Once purchased, reservations are non-refundable and cannot be changed. For this reason, we recommend that you be sure your travel dates and specific flights won’t need to be changed. If they do need to changed or your trip gets cancelled, your entire fare will be forfeited. The number of seats available at this fare is limited, so when you’re confident of your travel details, make your reservation as soon as possible.  Travel with this fare does not earn credit in our FlyerFlex program.
