(July 16, 2012) – SeaPort Airlines today announced that it will adjust the departure time from McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport on Sundays, allowing Tennessee Titan fans to make a same day roundtrip when attending home games.
The new schedule takes effect on September 9th. Flight number K5 2613 will depart McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport at 9:10am and arrive in Nashville International Airport at 10:15am. Return flight number K5 2623 will depart Nashville International Airport at 5:30pm and arrive in Jackson at 6:35pm. All other flight times on SeaPort’s service at Jackson remains unchanged. Reservations can be made at www.SeaPortAirlines.com, in all major GDSs, and online travel sites.
The new schedule will allow fans to attend the following home games:
September 9 v. New England Patriots
September 23 v. Detroit Lions
October 28 v. Indianapolis Colts
November 4 v. Chicago Bears
December 2 v. Houston Texans
December 30v. Jacksonville Jaguars
To make the day trip even more enjoyable, SeaPort Airlines has arranged with Gray Line Tours to offer at an additional charge) ground transportation between the airport and stadium. Customers can contact kwhite@graylinetn.com or call 615-417-3070 to pay and reserve this service.
Fares for every seat between Jackson and Nashville are just $35 each way, including all taxes and fees. With the new schedule, SeaPort recommends making reservations soon because flights are expected to book up very fast.
Customers traveling from McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport enjoy free parking and a hassle free terminal. Upon arrival in Nashville, customers will deplane at the executive terminal where ground transportation will be available, as well a shuttle to main passenger terminal. Return flights from Nashville depart from the main terminal, and customers check-in with American Eagle Airlines.
